Ray Shields, MC, NCC, LPC

Ray is an Arizona Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a National Certified Counselor.  He received his Masters of Counseling Degree from the University of Phoenix.  He also retains a Masters Degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Prior to the founding of Reflections Counseling & Educational Services Ltd., Ray was a classroom teacher, an educational consultant, a support group facilitator and a supervisor on a crisis mobile unit.

He has served the Phoenix area for 26 years as a community counselor, which includes the opening of his own private practice for the past 22 years.   

He specializes in the areas of depression, anxiety, and anger management for blended families, married couples and single adults.  His extensive training and experience have provided techniques which bring health and wellness to many.

Linda Shields, MA

 As co-owner with Ray, of Reflection’s Counseling and Educational Services Ltd., Linda shares the vision of their private practice.

Linda has recently retired as an active provider for public education. However, this has allowed more time for her to support their growing practice as well as being available for consultation services. Linda’s background and passion for preschool education has continued to be evident to those who “stay in touch” with her. Her educational training as a Speech Pathologist from Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota and her Early Childhood Specialist training from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona have served her well. Her myriad of experiences in the field of education can be drawn upon for advice and support.
